Has anyone outside the Rent world ever heard of Telly Leung?

Actually, Telly is one of the most successful of all Rent alumni of that era, as far as booking theatre work goes. He's been in many shows, all over the country.

It's on the cutting room floor.

Did any try and get good seats for these shows?

Aaron Tveit as Roger is interesting; I don't see him and Hudgens together, though.

Aaron was in the Rent Non-Eq tour before he did Broadway.

He understudied Roger and went on a few times! So glad he got this Smile

I'm going.

My seats aren't great, but I also kinda hate the Hollywood Bowl in the first place. It's a great venue for, say, the Philharmonic, but it's a terrible place if you actually want to WATCH something, unless you're in the very front.

Hopefully they'll have screens up.

Well, we'll be swinging a trip and going to the last show. This has the potential to either be really amazing or really awful. Pretty excited to find out!

They did for Les Miz. Do they usually? (I'd never been there before -- or since -- I saw Les Miz in Concert.)

I haven't bought my tickets because we haven't figured out transportation yet.

Aaron was Steve when I saw Rent for the first time. So glad he's getting this opportunity. I can think of about 10 dozen people I would rather see as Mimi, than Vanessa. That includes Arianda. Again. Ick.

Nicole Sherzinger (the lead Pussycat Doll) will be playing Maureen. *shudder* Neil Patrick Harris, why hath thou forsaken us?

Anyway, the ensemble has been announced as well and includes Rent alumni like Yaz Alers, Aswad, and MiRi Park.

I think Nicole will be great as Maureen. She would be a better Mimi, though.

Excited to see Yaz and Aswad back in the show! Can't wait to "see" this.

Oh my goodness! David Burtka is in the cast. I wonder how he booked that job.

A) "Hast" thou, not "hath" thou.
B) Honestly, switch Scherzinger and Hudgens' roles and I'd be pretty happy with the cast as it is.

Vanessa as Mimi *cries*

I pray to God I'm surprised and she's actually good. Someone please record the songs and post them somewhere. I need to hear her Light My Candle and Out Tonight. I'm pretty okay with the rest of the cast. I have no idea who that chick is that's playing Maureen (I know she is/was a Pussycat Doll, never heard her sing as I don't listen to them, so can't judge) but I hear Aaron's great so him as Roger's gonna be cool. Hopefully.

I wish I could see this. I hope Vanessa doesn't butcher my favorite character.

So, my mother and I are huge fans of the show and subsequently, my mother decided to try to get tickets to see the Hollywood Bowl production and succeeded. However, flights were too expensive so we cannot attend. Now, we have 3 tickets that we need to sell. Two failed eBay attempts have led me to thinking that maybe someone here would want to buy them, or know somebody who would?

The tickets are for August 8th, aka the last performance. We’re selling:

- 1 ticket in Section D, row 7

We had the starting price at $65.00 on eBay, which I’m pretty sure is cheaper than face value. We really would just like to get SOME money back for them because, well, yeah, obvious reasons.

If you or anyone you know would be interested, send me a message. Thanks so much!

EDIT: We sold the two section E tickets shortly after I posted this. Still looking for someone to take the third, though!
