I've been reading on here two things. 1 is that the movie is scheduled to play a couple more times in theaters. 2 is that there's going to be a dvd.
Is that true? Is there actually going to be a dvd? Where can I find out more info about that?

I'm not an expert, but this is the info I've picked up from around the place.
Apparently the film was contracted to screen 10 times, which means there are 6 more showings left. Presumably to be shown around the time of/just before the DVD release?
Re: the DVD, many, many people have reported being interviewed "for the DVD", so it is currently a very safe assumption that it will be released on DVD with special features. I think I also heard somewhere that a new documentary is being made.

Tracie Thoms also apparently mentioned the DVD in her blog. So I'm assuming that's a pretty good confirmation that there WILL be one.

| i have heard directly from several cast members that there will be a dvd. so i'd say it's pretty certain. |

It was shot in HD and it's a Sony deal, so I'm pretty sure it'll be on BD! |

| Any update on the DVD? (Or Blu-Ray???) Surely they'll have it out before Christmas. It's not in theaters, any more. it would be stupid to wait until after the holidays! |

| According to this post at DVD Talk, it will be released on both DVD and Blu-Ray on February 3, 2009. The official announcement will be November 24. |
